Our Story
Roses, with their radiant petals and sharp thorns, are symbols of beauty intertwined with challenge. They draw us into the delicate dance between joy and pain. Much like roses, our lives bear thorns—those hardships that make us ache. Yet, when we allow ourselves to bloom, we reveal the true beauty of our experiences.
Rose Bloom Psychology nurtures this blossoming of healing, guiding us to balance the thorns we carry. RB Psychology creates a space where we can gently explore our inner landscape, discovering the pathways that let our minds unfold in full bloom.
Rose Bloom Psychology was founded by our clinical director, Victoria-Rose Taylor, in 2024. After spending time working in public health and private practice settings, Tori was inspired to create a therapeutic environment that did not shy away from those living with complex and enduring mental health concerns. Rose Bloom was to become a place of continuing healing and development rather than focusing on short-term solutions while embracing the limitedness of what is possible.
Rose Bloom Psychology is based on three fundamental paradigms:
Humanism underpins any and all mental health concerns.
No matter what mental health diagnosis you have been given, everyone is a human first. Rose Bloom Psychology wishes to dismantle the systematic stigma that exists for people across mental health conditions, genders, races and neurotypes.
Mental Health Care should be accessible no matter who you are.
Mental health care within Australia can be inaccessible for those disadvantaged groups. At Rose Bloom, we aim to support individuals who need ongoing psychology. We commit to providing transparent fees and discuss the option for a sliding payment scale for those from minority groups.
Connection is at the core of all healing.
Rose Bloom Psychology focuses on the connection between psychologist and client, as well as the client’s connection to their internal experience. Research demonstrates that approximately 60% of the change for a client in psychology is based in the relationship with their psychologist. Fundamentally, Rose Bloom focuses on the intimate connection between two humans sharing in a story.
